About Us
Play, Learn & Grow! Your number one family friendly website providing parents, educators, and care givers with resources to enhance motor development in infancy and early childhood.
This website exists as part of a senior project for California Polytechnic State University's Psychology and Child Development Department. The student developers are Olivia Butler, Lily Hall, and Arley Ramirez. This website aims to be a resource describing motor development, important milestones and what key factors influence a child's acquisition of motor skills. Our research could be helpful for children with developmental delays, which may include NICU infants, to enrich their future development. It is our hope that this website will provide parents and care givers with current and helpful information to enhance their interactions with their growing and developing children!
Olivia Butler
Interest: Early Childhood Education
I have absolutely loved my time at Cal Poly and the education I've gained from the Child Development Department. I am currently a swim instructor and nanny in San Luis Obispo. I will be starting a master's program in Boulder, CO for Early Childhood Education in August!

Lily Hall
Interest: Pediatric Nursing
I am a fourth-year Child Development major and Psychology minor at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. After graduation I am excited to pursue my interest in the pediatric nursing at Curtin University, Australia in July!
Arley Ramirez
Interest: Early Childhood Education
I am a Child Development major with minors in Psychology and Spanish. I work as an Early Head Start teacher in San Luis Obispo. I hope to continue working with toddlers and preschoolers after my time at Cal Poly .
